Thermal Baths of Papallacta
Terms of Papallacta Spa & Resort offers health, recreation, adventure, and relaxation; it is the only spa in Ecuador with hot springs that have been endorsed by the Federación Medica Ecuatoriana and it has an operating permit as a medical center from Ecuador’s Ministry of Public Health.

In the morning drive along the Interoceanic Highway, the road to the Oriente. You will enjoy the amazing landscape. These thermal baths are the most attractively developed set of hot springs in Ecuador. The hot water is channeled into several swimming pools. Optional lunch. Return to Quito.

Thermal Springs of Papallacta.- After 2 hours driving from Quito , we will get to a small settlement situated on the high Andean pass of Papallacta (4.050 m). On the way, we will drive through grasslands, Polylepis forests and Paramo. In the afternoon, relax on a hot thermal bath while you enjoy the marvelous view of the Antisana Volcano (5704 m).
