Baltra.- Is right across from the southern tip of Santa Cruz, separated roughly by 150 meters by a crystal clear water canal coexisting with sea lions, birds and several other endemic species that join the tourist throughout the trips on boats when crossing over to Santa Cruz where all visitors are immediately transported by bus to Puerto Ayora, the main area in Santa Cruz.
